A face to our Ramiah

SHOCK!!!
I am in complete shock while being on cloud nine and experiencing many emotions!

After waiting 159 days for a referral it came to us on Tuesday, day 160! As many of you know I have been jumping for the phone, running full throttle for the phone, and sometimes stumbling for the phone every time it rang, in hopes to here about our daughter. Well after 159 days of phone calls......
Tuesday July 10th I picked up the phone after an emotional day of not getting, "The Call" to call Shannon. When I went to listen for the dial tone there was none. I simple said a hello just in case and I hear. "Cindie. This is Kristina. I have a referral for you."
God has such the sense of humor, for not letting the phone even ring. The one time I don't have anxiety, can't read the caller ID and have no prior warning, it is THE CALL!

Well, since 3:30 on Tuesday I have been crying, staring at her picture, crying, planning, getting into baby mode once again, and crying some more. This is really here, our daughter will soon be held by her new mommy and be cared for by her family and friends. She will soon find out about the two little red heads that will be her siblings, and about her amazing daddy, that will share the love of Jesus with her in everyday of his life. We are blessed beyond words for our beautiful gift of Ramiah Denknesh Caroland!

I can't wait until we have our "call" story to tell!

When you get the chance, I'd love to hear about how the process works from here. How long until you get her? Who has to travel? How long will you be there? It's all very exciting and I'm so happy for your family!

It is the best thing ever!

The process for us went something like this...
*October signed on with agency.
filled out LOTS of paperwork.
*November-December- Home study
*January-Dossier filled out
*February-got approved and started the wait for referral.
*July- Got our sweet baby (picture)
*HOPE TO TRAVEL SEPTEMBER

We had options about travel, but Shannon and I are both going! We will only stay 1 week.

Do you have any blog or anything?

Cindie,

No blog, although I'm hoping to create a myspace account in the near future. I enjoy reading about other peoples' lives rather than writing about my own!!

I do have e-mail which is ajatchley@hotmail.com. I'd love to know what agency you went through and all that. We can share stories that way.

I'm so happy for you guys! Thanks for sharing your adoption adventure with us through your blog - I love reading it and am so happy that God is providing this little girl so far away with such a great family!
Send me info on that current and ink stuff and I'll see what we can do.

Jodi,
The current stuff I feel like no one is going to like. I am discouraged with that.

The ink carts are any from normal size printer, not the large office ones. I have envelopes I could send you if you have any, there is no cost you just put them in seal it and mail it. It has a bar code on it for our adoption account.

Let me know.
Thanks for reading our blog, it is always fun and encouraging to get comments!!
