We are now at that part in the adoption where we have to make post placement reports once a year, on our own. Which also means Ramiah's birthday is right around the corner. It is one week after Hannah's and right on my late Grandfather's birthday the 31st of May. Since she came home to us 4 months old, it does not feel like we should be celebrating a year old birthday. We have had many people ask if we are going to have a big birthday for her, but we have decided to have a home forever party in September, and celebrate the one year of being home with us instead. All are welcome and I will have more information when the time gets closer.
I did just want to update all of you on Ramiah, and how she is.
She now weighs 18lbs, and is 27 inches tall. She is crawling everywhere and is taking a few steps on her own. She loves to explore (or get into everything) depends on how you want to say it. She has 5 teeth and is working on more. She continues to be a blessing to us all. I thank God He placed her in our family, she is a tremendous joy.
It just seems so odd to be celebrating a first birthday already and just how much she has changed in such a short time. Thank you for your prayers throughout this whole process and for your continued prayers, you too are a blessing to our family.
