The prize

We're home. And there is much to write about the trip, the return home, Ethiopia, and more. But first, the prize.

Many of you have spent months praying, giving, and encouraging. The result is Ramiah is home. So enjoy what is too many pictures from a very proud (and slightly exhausted) Papa.

Proud parents at the guesthouse in Ethiopia

After her first bath

Tummy time

pretty in pink

graceful mommy

Mommy holds on tight

Daddy got some turns too

So far, she's a great sleeper... and maybe the loudest thumb-sucker on earth

Ramiah meets her nanny. Hannah loves her new sister, and does not want to surrender her ever. She's great.

Fashion diva in traditional Ethiopian garb

Ramiah clings to her mommy

one more for good measure.

Thanks for the prayers. Be back soon.

I can't stop looking at your beautiful pictures! I'm so happy for your family and for this precious little girl who will grow up in a Christian home. Your adoption story has been such a great encouragement to us as we wait for our own little one. You have no idea how many times I've turned to your blog...just for comfort and encouragement. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

She is very beautiful. from your photos, you have a very lovely family. You never know how many people's lives that you might have touched throughout the years, Cindie. Just as you and Shannon adopted this beautiful angel from the depths of Africa, so you will never know that you helped to save the life of another child many years ago. That child is alive and is growing up in the Lord thanks to a kindness that you paid to someone in another place and another time. You have a gift from God, and please know that you have touched and made a difference in peopl's lives that you are not even aware of. God bless you and yours!
